This year, East Windsor Parks & Recreation will be offering swim lessons in the morning as well as limited evening options. Residents will be able to register at a reduced cost of $10.00 per session due to funding from the East Windsor Youth Service Bureau!Please note lessons are held at East Windsor Reservoir, 27 Reservoir Avenue. This is an open water facility, not a pool. Weekly water tests are done by the North Central Health District. Classes will be held Monday-Thursday in a two week session; Fridays are reserved as rain dates. All lessons are 30 minutes in length and taught by American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors.While classes will typically be held in the rain, they are cancelled in the event of thunder and lightning. For cancellation updates, parents are advised to call the Gatehouse at 860.623.8375 or the Parks & Recreation Office at 860.627.6662.We will also post weather related cancellations on our Facebook Page & Website. Swim Lessons Summer 2026 - Session 2 - Session 3: Preschool (AM)
This year, East Windsor Parks & Recreation will be offering swim lessons in the morning as well as limited evening options. Residents will be able to register at a reduced cost of $10.00 per session due to funding from the East Windsor Youth Service Bureau!Please note lessons are held at East Windsor Reservoir, 27 Reservoir Avenue. This is an open water facility, not a pool. Weekly water tests are done by the North Central Health District. Classes will be held Monday-Thursday in a two week session; Fridays are reserved as rain dates. All lessons are 30 minutes in length and taught by American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors.While classes will typically be held in the rain, they are cancelled in the event of thunder and lightning. For cancellation updates, parents are advised to call the Gatehouse at 860.623.8375 or the Parks & Recreation Office at 860.627.6662.We will also post weather related cancellations on our Facebook Page & Website. Swim Lesson Refund PolicyAt the time of registration, a $10.00 per session deposit will be collected to reserve your child’s spot. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event you should cancel your spot, the deposit will be retained. In the event of a medical cancellation due to illness, a refund may be granted with a signed doctor’s note. All refund requests must be made in writing.

Chess Wizards - Chess Wizards - PM Half Day
Chess Wizards offers fun, intellectual and challenging chess education and tournament experiences to children of all abilities and ages. Our chess instruction is held at participating schools, as well as park districts, churches, and chess clubs. We also offer private lessons, run scholastic tournaments, and hold chess camps in the summer. We believe learning should be fun! Kids play chess because it is fun, not because it ‘is good for their cognitive, social, and emotional development.’ Our students learn chess is fun on Day 1! In addition to lessons and traditional gameplay, we incorporate variations of chess games that build teamwork and foster a genuine enjoyment of a game over a thousand years old!

Crayola Imagine Arts Academy & Mad Science Summer Camp - Mad Science PM Session: Red Hot Robots
Crayola Imagine Arts Academy: AM Session (9:00am-12:00pm); Entering Grades 1-6ART-ventures with Pigasso and Mootisse:Art explorers learn about real artists, their vision of the world and the materials and techniques they use or used. Think about famous artists like Picasso, Matisse, van Gogh, Modigliani, Homer and more. Included are fun and funky 3-D projects using unconventional and sometimes kooky artist's techniques and materials. During this art-packed week create vibrant tie-dyed t-shirts, decoupage large papier mache stars, design leather wristbands and celestial stained glass, experiment with emotion collages, mosaic art and so much more.Mad Science: PM Session (1:00-4:00pm); Entering Grades 1-6Red Hot Robots:Children will learn the basics of robotics by constructing their own age-appropriate robot throughout the week. They will gain a basic knowledge of the science of wheels, simple machines, and gears. They will experience different types of robotic devices including line-tracking and responsive robots. Robots go home with campers on the last day of the program! Supplies included. Half Day: $185.00Full Day: $365.00 (Includes supervised lunch hour)
