This year, East Windsor Parks & Recreation will be offering swim lessons in the morning as well as limited evening options. Residents will be able to register at a reduced cost of $10.00 per session due to funding from the East Windsor Youth Service Bureau!Please note lessons are held at East Windsor Reservoir, 27 Reservoir Avenue. This is an open water facility, not a pool. Weekly water tests are done by the North Central Health District. Classes will be held Monday-Thursday in a two week session; Fridays are reserved as rain dates. Heat and Summer Safety workshop presented by Complete Care at Kimberly Hall North. This program equips you with practical strategies for a healthy summer. Participants will gain expert guidance on UV protection, hydration, and recognizing the symptoms of heat stress and signs of heat-related illness, so you can enjoy the season safely, all while enjoying root beer floats! We believe learning should be fun! Kids play chess because it is fun, not because it ‘is good for their cognitive, social, and emotional development.’ Our students learn chess is fun on Day 1! In addition to lessons and traditional gameplay, we incorporate variations of chess games that build teamwork and foster a genuine enjoyment of a game over a thousand years old!

During this art-packed week create vibrant tie-dyed t-shirts, decoupage large papier mache stars, design leather wristbands and celestial stained glass, experiment with emotion collages, mosaic art and so much more.Mad Science: PM Session (1:00-4:00pm); Entering Grades 1-6Red Hot Robots:Children will learn the basics of robotics by constructing their own age-appropriate robot throughout the week. They will gain a basic knowledge of the science of wheels, simple machines, and gears. They will experience different types of robotic devices including line-tracking and responsive robots. Chess Wizards offers fun, intellectual and challenging chess education and tournament experiences to children of all abilities and ages. Our chess instruction is held at participating schools, as well as park districts, churches, and chess clubs. We also offer private lessons, run scholastic tournaments, and hold chess camps in the summer. We believe learning should be fun! Kids play chess because it is fun, not because it ‘is good for their cognitive, social, and emotional development.’ Our students learn chess is fun on Day 1! In addition to lessons and traditional gameplay, we incorporate variations of chess games that build teamwork and foster a genuine enjoyment of a game over a thousand years old!
