March: American Harvest by Marie Nutuski Lockett
American Harvest is a non-fiction book documenting a journey with evangelical Christian wheat harvesters from Texas to Idaho. Mockett, an absentee farm owner, explores the cultural and political "divide" between rural, religious America and coastal, secular perspectives, examining themes of faith, farming, and food production.

April: Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger
A coming-of-age mystery set in 1961 Minnesota, told by 13-year old Frank Drum. The novel follows Frank as he navigates a summer of multiple, tragic deaths in his small town, forcing him to confront adult secrets, loss of innocence, and the complex, "ordinary" grace of God.
