North Pole Express at the Essex Steam Train

The East Windsor Parks and Recreation Department has reserved an entire coach car for the North Pole Express in Essex, CT!

Join us on a locomotive-powered sleigh for a magical nighttime journey to the North Pole! Every coach becomes a stage for a LIVE musical performance of “The Night Before Christmas.” Celebrate the spirit of the season with Santa and Mrs. Claus, festive sing-a-longs, hot chocolate and sugar cookies!

Each child will receive a small gift from Santa. Children are invited to wear their favorite pajamas! Make sure those PJs are warm and cozy-it’s cold up at the North Pole!

Tickets are $70.00 per person, and are first-come, first-serve: tickets can be purchased in person (25 School Street) or over the phone. Everyone age 1 and up MUST have a paid ticket to enter the train. We accept cash and credit cards. (no checks please). FULL payment is due at the time of the transaction and tickets are non-refundable. Tickets must be picked up in person at the Parks and Rec office (we will have them in November) Please call our office at 860-627-6662 with any questions.

Tickets are for the Sunday, November 17th train at 6:00pm (it is a 90 minute train ride).
