American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course

We are looking for people who are interested in working as a Lifeguard for the East Windsor Parks and Recreation Department this summer and beyond. Qualified candidates can become certified through East Windsor Parks and Recreation for the cost of the Red Cross Certification Fee.

To qualify for the lifeguarding class, interested candidates must do the following:




  • Be a minimum of 15 years of age by May 19th, 2024.


  • Submit the interest form to www.EastWindsorRec.com by Friday, April 5th.


  • Successfully complete a pre-employment interview, scheduled April 15th-19th, 2024.




Upon selection for the class, participants must:




  • Complete the participant form and pay the $50.00 fee by May 3rd.


  • Submit an Employment Application via www.EastWindsorRec.com by May 20th, 2024.


  • Successfully complete all of the online and in-person training




Upon successful certification, new lifeguards will be scheduled for an employment interview with Parks and Recreation. Space is limited to 5 participants.

Please note: taking this class does not guarantee employment. Attendance is REQUIRED for all classes.

Thursday, May 16th - 5:00-9:00pm
Friday, May 17th - 4:30-9:00pm
Saturday, May 18th - 11:45am-7:00pm
Sunday, May 19th - 11:45am-7:00pm
