Due to a generous grant from the East Windsor Greater Together Community Fund via the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, East Windsor Parks & Recreation is able to provide no-cost swim lessons to East Windsor residents for Summer 2023. In order to provide an equitable opportunity and serve as many children as possible, lessons will be limited to one class/session per child. If additional spots are available after July 1st, we will work to fill slots with those who expressed interest in additional sessions.

Non-residents are still welcome to register for lessons as well, at the normal rate of $50.00 per session. 

Please note lessons are held at East Windsor Reservoir, 27 Reservoir Avenue. This is an open water facility, not a pool. Weekly water tests are done by the North Central Health District. Classes will be held Monday-Thursday in a two week session; Fridays are reserved as rain dates. All lessons are 30 minutes in length and taught by American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors.

While classes will typically be held in the rain, they are cancelled in the event of thunder and lightning. For cancellation updates, parents are advised to call the Gatehouse at 860.623.8375 or the Parks & Recreation Office at 860.627.6662.
